Every garden seems to have a huge trampoline and kids go to all kinds of soft play, inflatable and trampoline parks but the only trampoline I ever saw as a kid was a three foot gym trampoline. These we’re not really capable of giving height and performing any kind of trick would certainly lead to an accident.
Today, Mark, Harry and I went to a trampoline park so I could attempt a flip and have a little post Christmas family time out of the house.
In our one hour session, I was determined to flip but found it a little scary; I am not as brave as I used to be!
Mustering all the courage I could find, I used frog leg jumps to gain as much height as possible and threw myself forward after about five jumps. I landed on my back but I was over!
I spent the next twenty minutes at it while Mark and Harry had great fun and I managed it! My landing wasn’t great but I was on my feet!
I have, however, realised that this is not for me, I’m far too afraid to be throwing myself upside down on a regular basis.
