Mark found the perfect spot at Lumb Hole Falls just north of Hebden Bridge; a small but beautiful waterfall with clear running water that cascades at three points into the pool below (also perfect for skinny dipping).
As we were in Yorkshire, we by no means expected the water to be warm so I had to brace myself to get underneath the effluence. The rocks were a tad slippery but I clambered behind the falls and stepped out to let the water flow over me. It hit harder than I imagined but I soon got used to the flow and the temperature. By and large, it was pleasant and fun. We laughed a lot. Mark joined me briefly before the skinny dipping commenced! See #17.
